Research Grant | ICU Medical Investigator Initiated Studies ICU Medical may support unsolicited, independent research in order to generate valuable scientific or clinical data and/or enhance patient care. * Investigator Initiated Studies (IIS) are clinical or non-clinical studies recognized by ICU Medical as having scientific and/or medical merit that are in harmony with the strategic initiatives of the product portfolio.
These studies are initiated, developed, designed, managed and conducted by an independent or academic sponsor who assumes responsibility for the conduct and management of the study. ICU Medical may provide support but does not assume responsibility for the study.
*ICU Medical's support of IIS is not offered or provided with the intent of, directly or indirectly, influencing a recipient to use, recommend, purchase, lease or order ICU Medical Products or services. Investigators (the "Applicant") interested in submitting a study proposal are requested to complete the below request form. The Applicant must have the necessary qualifications and resources to conduct the study.
All requests submitted by the Applicant should include the following documents: Detailed Protocol or study design/methods Description of how regulatory or Institutional Review Board ("IRB") approval will be obtained, if needed.
Investigator(s) CV/Resume Submission will undergo review to ensure appropriate documents are provided, ICU team members may reach out to perform initial conversation with potential investigators to request additional information or initiate a Confidentially Agreement. Requests will be evaluated according to their scientific merit, alignment with ICU Medical areas of interest and available funding.
