The application period for the 2026 grant clycle is now CLOSED. Applications for the 2027 cycle will open in January 2027 The Aneurysm and AVM Foundation (TAAF) invites applications for scientific research projects that will advance our understanding of cerebrovascular diseases, specifically as they relate to aneurysms, AVMs, and complex vascular malformations.
TAAF Grants aim to support innovative research strategies that can lead to novel therapies, improved clinical management, and better recovery outcomes for both adult and pediatric patients. We strongly encourage early-career researchers to apply. Grants will be awarded up to a maximum of $30,000, with funds restricted to direct costs only.
This opportunity is open to investigators at all stages of their careers, including those just starting their research journey. Grant recipients will present their findings at TAAF’s Annual Meeting, traditionally held alongside the Annual Aneurysm and AVM Awareness Walk at the end of September. Please note, the meeting date and location are subject to change and will be announced at a later time.
