gov This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) invites applications that propose to develop novel research infrastructure that will advance the science of aging in specific areas requiring interdisciplinary partnerships or collaborations.
This NOFO will use the NIH Phased Innovation Award (R61/R33) mechanism to provide up to 2 years of R61 support for initial developmental activities and up to 3 years of R33 support for expanded activities. Through this award, investigators will develop a sustainable research infrastructure to support projects that address key interdisciplinary aging research questions.
For-profit organizations other than small businesses Independent school districts Public and state institutions of higher education Private institutions of higher education Public and Indian housing authorities City or township governments Special district governments Federally recognized Native American tribal governments Other Native American tribal organizations Nonprofits non-higher education without 501(c)(3) Nonprofits non-higher education with 501(c)(3) Other Eligible Applicants include the following: Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian Serving Institutions; Asian American Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institutions (AANAPISISs); Eligible Agencies of the Federal Government; Faith-based or Community-based Organizations; Hispanic-serving Institutions; Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs); Indian/Native American Tribal Governments (Other than Federally Recognized); Non-domestic (non-U.S.) Entities (Foreign Organizations); Regional Organizations; Tribally Controlled Colleges and Universities (TCCUs) ; U.S. Territory or Possession; Non-domestic (non-U.S.) Entities (Foreign Organizations) are not eligible to apply.
