gov The AHRQ Health Services Research Projects Program (R01) supports specified health services research projects concerning the delivery of healthcare in inner-city and rural areas, including frontier areas, as well as for other AHRQ priority populations.
Projects should focus on AHRQ's mission and priority areas, and may target services in any healthcare setting, including hospital, long-term care, ambulatory care, home healthcare, pharmacy, and care transitions between Grantees should work with the Department of Health and Human Services and other partners to make sure that the evidence is understood and used.
AHRQ Research Priority Areas are: Research to improve healthcare quality and patient Research to improve healthcare delivery and practice Research to enhance whole-person healthcare delivery Priority populations include: Individuals living in inner city and rural (including Individuals with special healthcare needs, including individuals with disabilities and those who need chronic care or end-of-life healthcare Eligible applicants include: Higher education institutions Public/state controlled institutions Native American tribal organizations Faith-based or community-based organizations Federally recognized Indian/Native American Indian/Native American tribal governments (other than federally recognized) Eligible agencies of the federal government U.S. territory or possession Independent school districts Public housing authorities Indian housing authorities Nationwide and U.S. territories Award Ceiling: $400,000 annually Project period: Up to 5 years Links to the full announcement and online application process are available through grants.
