Residential Services for Unaccompanied Alien Children

Placement and Coordination Program (Program of Initial Resettlement and Intensive Case Management) is sponsored by Administration for Children and Families (ACF), Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR). ORR seeks public and private non-profit entities to apply to implement Program of Initial Resettlement (PIR) and Intensive Case Management services. State governments and providers already receiving PIR funding are ineligible.

Primary Prevention Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program is sponsored by Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB). This program provides funding to identify and implement strategies and services for youth and young adults (ages 12-26) to prevent homelessness. This includes strategies designed for populations with a high likelihood of experiencing homelessness or housing instability, particularly youth at risk of human trafficking, struggling with substance abuse or mental health concerns, or transitioning out of foster care, the juvenile justice system, or a residential behavioral health system. Grant recipients must work with youth who have experienced homelessness to help design and implement projects.
