DoorDash Local Business Relief Fund - Hello Alice The DoorDash Local Business Disaster Relief Fund The DoorDash Local Business Disaster Relief Fund , presented by DoorDash in partnership with Hello Alice, is here to support local businesses affected by select natural disasters. Small businesses are the backbone of our communities.

When disaster strikes, access to immediate capital is critical to help businesses stabilize operations and begin recovery. With funding available to help small businesses like restaurants, flower shops, liquor stores, convenience stores, pet stores, and local grocery stores recover and thrive, this initiative strengthens local economies by investing in small businesses that serve their neighborhoods every day.

To date, DoorDash has awarded nearly $10 million, helping hundreds of small business owners rebuild. Selected businesses will receive $5,000 grants to invest in essential recovery expenses where this level of funding can have meaningful impact, such as urgent operational expenses, time-sensitive repairs , immediate inventory needs , payroll during recovery , and other critical out-of-pocket expenses needed to resume operations.

Examples of these expenses include (but are not limited to): Utility reconnection fees to restore power, gas, or water service A week or two of payroll to keep your core team intact while you rebuild Inventory restocking to get items back on the menu or shelves Equipment replacement or repair that insurance won’t cover or takes too long to process Emergency cleaning, sanitation, or debris removal costs to meet health and safety standards for reopening Short-term storage fees for salvaged equipment or inventory Temporary signage or supplies to let your neighborhood know you’re back open This funding is designed to help you get back on your feet and continue serving your community.

This fund is not accepting applications at this time – check back for future opportunities. To be eligible, the applicant must be: The leading executive (Founder, CEO, President, etc.) of the business At least 18 years old (19 in AL and NE) Be a for-profit business located and registered in one of the fifty United States, D. C.

, or Puerto Rico Be a small business with a brick-and-mortar location that has experienced loss in revenue or damage as a direct result of a qualifying disaster Have a maximum of three locations, and employ fewer than 50 employees per location Have been open for at least six months Have revenues of $3M or less per location in 2025 and be independently-owned (not a franchise or subsidiary of a larger corporation) Have revenues of $3M or less per location in 2024 and be independently-owned This fund supports local businesses affected by specific natural disasters.
