RESTORE Program for Seniors in Sullivan County - RUPCO Sullivan County RESTORE Program Are you a senior homeowner in Sullivan County facing urgent home repairs? RUPCO’s subsidiary, Rural Sullivan Housing , is administering the RESTORE Program to provide emergency home repair assistance to income-eligible seniors—so you can remain safe, secure, and independent in your own home.
The program can provide grants of up to $20,000 per household.
The program application window is CLOSED * Funds are provided by Housing Trust Fund Corporation (HTFC) NYS Homes & Community Renewal (HCR) RESTORE can help with emergency repairs that correct conditions posing a threat to health and safety, including: Major system failures (heating, water, septic, roof) Accessibility barriers (e.g. ramps, bathroom modifications) Code violations requiring immediate attention Own and occupy a 1–4 family home in Sullivan County as their primary residence Have no open building permits and up-to-date taxes/mortgage Fall within income limits (see table below) Total Gross Household Income Limits 1 Person 2 Person 3 Person 4 Person 5 Person 6 Person 7 Person 8 Person $68,200 $78,000 $87,800 $97,500 $105,300 $113,100 $120,900 $128,700
