How to Apply – The Reuter Family Foundation We are a relatively small foundation granting less than $100,000 per year. We often enjoy meeting at our prospective grantee sites and sometimes participating with them in certain projects. For this reason we confine our grants to social service organizations in the Collin County and Dallas, Texas area.
All correspondence including inquiries, proposals and reports should be sent to us as a Microsoft Word, Excel document or PDF file only via e-mail. The proposal itself should contain all the information needed to determine if we would like to visit you and possibly fund the project. For support from the Reuter Family Foundation, you must submit a full proposal which should include the items listed below.
Printed on organizations letter head no more than 2 pages with a description of your organization’s mission and history signed by your Executive Director. Desired funding amount, justification of need, explanation of how the Reuter Family Foundation grant would be allocated, and how the funding will help your organization’s programs, goals and outcomes.
An approved organizational annual operating budget for the current fiscal year with YTD actuals. A P&L statement from the last two years. A copy of your IRS 501c-3 determination letter and designation as a public charity.
Requests are constantly being evaluated. We will acknowledge via email that we received your proposal. The Reuter Family Foundation receives Proposals all year except during November, December and January.
