Mills Foundation makes grants to organizations supporting charitable, religious, scientific, literary, humanitarian, scholarship, or educational purposes. Specificity regarding the need, practicability, and usefulness of each proposed grant is encouraged. To be eligible, organizations must qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Preference may be given to requests from organizations in the New Jersey area. Average grant size: $5,000 Annual application period and deadlines Applications are accepted year-round but must be submitted by May 31 for an August decision. Applicants will receive an automatic email confirmation when an application is submitted.
