Robotics Adoption Fund - The National Robotarium Robotics Adoption Fund 25/26 The Robotics Adoption Fund, delivered by The National Robotarium and supported by the Scottish Government, is a six-month pilot programme designed to help businesses explore, adopt and implement robotics.
Whether you are just starting to consider robotics or are ready to test a solution in your operations, the fund offers flexible support tailored to your needs. Robotics Readiness Reviews (Free) Take part in a monthly workshop with robotics specialists to explore how robotics could apply to your organisation.
Each session provides a readiness scorecard and a tailored action plan, giving you clear insights into your current position and the steps you can take to move forward. These reviews can be run in groups or designed specifically for your company. Robotics Adoption Assistance (Free) If you’re ready to go deeper, you can join our programme that brings your team together with our robotics engineers and specialists.
This includes a workshop to shape potential solutions, a site visit to see your operations first-hand, and a written report with tailored recommendations. The aim is to give you a clear, practical roadmap for adoption – and it’s fully funded.
Robotics Implementation Programmes (70% Funded) For companies ready to take the next step, this option offers the chance to co-design, build and test a proof-of-concept robotics solution with The National Robotarium. Delivered over approximately six months, these projects provide a complete package from design through to testing, giving you the evidence and confidence needed to decide on full-scale adoption.
The fund covers 70% of the cost of this programme, with your business contributing the remaining 30%. By joining the Robotics Adoption Fund, your business will gain access to expert support, practical tools, and real-world testing opportunities. Each stage is independent, so you can engage at the level that best suits your organisation.
