Giving Guidelines | Rockwell Automation | US Organizations are not eligible for consideration if they cannot provide evidence of a permanent, tax exempt ruling determination from the U.S. federal government (or non-U.S. equivalent), or if they cannot provide current full, certified, audited financial statements, or if they are private foundations.

Grants and sponsorship funding from Rockwell Automation should not be requested for the following: Lobbying or political organizations Animal shelters or animal related causes A specific sales opportunity We have a matching gift program for eligible global employees; the company will match gifts to eligible organizations dollar for dollar.

As a general rule we do not support religious organizations, capital campaign or multiyear pledges. The Company will not make contributions to any individual, entity or organization that commits, attempts to commit, advocates, facilitates or participates in terrorist acts or has committed, attempted to commit, facilitated or participated in terrorist acts.

The Company will not make contributions to non-religious organizations with a written policy of discrimination against a person or group based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, citizenship status (unless required by applicable law or government contract) or any other characteristics proscribed by applicable law.

We prefer to make grants so that a greater percentage of our contribution can be used toward the organization's mission instead of fundraising costs. We encourage our employees to become involved in the community and especially with our selected community partners. With more than 22,500 employees worldwide, we do not make grants or sponsorships solely based on employee involvement, nor do we support individual efforts.

All charitable giving is managed by the Global Community Relations & Contributions team using the application process detailed below. Our strategic partnership with FIRST helps keep costs down for all FIRST teams. We directly support a limited number of FIRST teams, and criteria is managed regionally.

The Rockwell Automation Charitable Corporation has chosen to focus on a select group of public schools primarily located near our larger facilities, in Milwaukee and Cleveland. We are not looking for new partner schools. Our Arts support is primarily focused in our headquarter community and targeted to the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre and the United Performing Arts Fund.

FIRST teams are eligible for direct support if there is an engaged Rockwell Automation mentor. Funding requests for team support are submitted by Rockwell Automation employees. Individual school Project Lead the Way and ST Math support is focused with our select partner schools in Milwaukee and/or Cleveland.

U.S. Event Sponsorship and Membership Request These contributions are generally made to current partners and align with U.S. guidelines noted above. As a rule, the Company does not sponsor charity golf outings, festivals, or walk- run- or other "thons". Requests must align with our Focused Giving strategy.

In our headquarters community, we offer the Clock Tower as an auction item to a small number of select community partner organizations based on the clock tower guidelines. Submit a request for sponsorship or membership funding .

U.S. Grant Request (Rockwell Automation Charitable Corporation) Grants are by invitation and aligned with our Focused Giving strategy These contributions are generally made to current partners for general operations, project/program support, scholarships, etc., align with U.S. guidelines noted above, and not be for event sponsorship or membership. Submit a request for a grant .

Existing nonprofit community partners, please use the following timeline as your guide for submitting requests: Application deadline is November 1 for payment in March and May 15 for payment in September. While our Focused Giving is globally framed, it is implemented locally. The offices in these locations will evaluate your requests and determine and prioritize needs in their community.
