Students and student groups are not eligible to apply for Sachs Program Rolling Grants.

What do the grants support? Rolling Grants are intended to support urgent requests in the arts and humanities. Applicants must make a case for why the request is time-sensitive, i.e., why they cannot apply for an opportunity in our annual grant cycle instead.
Rolling Grants are subject to the discretion of Sachs Program staff and the availability of funds. Projects promoting rigorous engagement with the arts across the university will be prioritized. How much can I apply for?
Rolling Grant applicants may request up to $1,500. Please email Sachs Program Associate Director Chloe Reison at reison@upenn. edu to inquire about a Rolling Grant.

How much funding are you requesting? Sachs Program Rolling Grants are intended to support time-sensitive projects and opportunities that cannot be supported through another opportunity in the Sachs Program annual grant cycle. Rolling Grant funds are limited, and we cannot guarantee funding for all requests.
University of Pennsylvania faculty (standing and non-standing), staff, departments, programs, and centers are eligible to apply for Sachs Program Rolling Grants. Students and student groups are not eligible to apply in this category. Applicants opting to work with a designated Fiscal Conduit to manage their grant award must seek approval from that department, program, or center before submitting their application.

Rolling Grants are not intended to support activities that took place in the past. Applications for Rolling Grants will be evaluated by The Sachs Program for Arts Innovation staff.
All deliberations will be guided by Sachs Program grantmaking criteria and mission priorities . The Sachs Program has limited resources and will, therefore, be unable to fund all requests. Matching funding for grant requests is strongly encouraged when possible but is not required.
