Rufford Small Grants for Nature Conservation - Apply for a Rufford Small Grant The Rufford Foundation funds nature conservation projects in emerging or developing economy countries. Here you can apply for a grant online or edit your Personal Profile if you have already received a grant from the foundation. 1.
Learn about the grants available. The funding process is staged, with four levels of support: 1st RSG, 2nd RSG, Booster Grant and Completion Grant. Grants range from £7,000 to £18,000.
There are no deadlines - applications can be submitted at any time of year. Unsuccessful applicants may re-apply after 12 months. Find out more about the different grants.
2. Check that you are eligible to apply. You should be in the early stages of your conservation career .
We focus on supporting current MSc or PhD students or recent graduates, though others can apply if they fit the additional criteria listed here. However, we do not fund undergraduate students. Your project must have a nature conservation focus.
