Rural Economic Development Loan & Grant Program (REDLG) is sponsored by U.S. Department of Agriculture - Rural Utilities Service (USDA RUS). This program provides funding to rural projects through local utility organizations. USDA provides grants to local utility organizations to establish Revolving Loan Funds (RLF) from which loans are made to projects that will create or retain rural jobs.
Eligible projects include business incubators, community development assistance to nonprofits and public bodies for job creation or enhancement, facilities and equipment for education and training, and start-up venture costs.
