Rural Engagement Scholarship | Texas A&M College of Nursing Rural Engagement Scholarship The Rural Engagement Scholarship at the College of Nursing provides $375,000 annually to support rural nurses seeking to complete advanced nursing education in the following programs: MSN-Family Nurse Practitioner DNP-Extreme Environment Nursing Post-Graduate Certificate in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Post-Graduate Certificate in Family Nurse Practitioner Post-Graduate Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Scholarship applicants must: Be admitted to one of the degree or certificate programs listed above Hold an unencumbered RN or APRN license in Texas Work in a rural health care facility in Texas, as designated by the Rural Health Information Hub Contact the Office of Student Affairs at 979.
