Rural Health Transformation Plan is sponsored by Pennsylvania Department of Human Services. Aims to improve rural healthcare services and recruit more healthcare professionals in rural communities.

The payment must stabilize or enhance rural health care access, promote rural well-being and fall under one of the following six initiatives in the Department’s federally approved RHTP application: </p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Aging and Access</li>\r\n<li>Behavioral Health</li>\r\n<li>Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Transportation</li>\r\n<li>Maternal Health</li>\r\n<li>Technology and Infrastructure</li>\r\n<li>Workforce</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p>Qualified hospitals, health care providers and rural health facilities are eligible for a program payment for supplies, equipment, renovations or structural improvements.
