Geographic coverage: Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee Applications accepted on an ongoing basis Sponsor: Delta Regional Authority Delta Region Community Health Systems Development Program Technical Assistance Technical assistance and consultation services for selected applicants through a 3-year participation cycle.
The program will assist rural health leaders and providers with implementation of best practices and evidenced-based models that improve performance and enhance care coordination to develop a local system of care. Geographic coverage: Counties in Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Tennessee that are served by the Delta Regional Authority.
Applications accepted on an ongoing basis Sponsors: Delta Regional Authority, National Rural Health Resource Center Loans and technical assistance to support sectors and industries that are driving economic diversification, local ownership, and community wealth building in Central Appalachia. Geographic coverage: Appalachian counties of Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Ohio.
Applications accepted on an ongoing basis Sponsor: Invest Appalachia Pathways to Practice Scholars Field Placement Program - Public Health Region IV Field placements and stipends for current public health students in the Southeastern Region.
Geographic coverage: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee Applications accepted on an ongoing basis Sponsor: Region IV Public Health Training Center Tennessee Behavioral Health Pathways Scholarship Tuition assistance for students in Tennessee who are pursuing master's degrees in behavioral health.
In exchange for tuition assistance, scholarship recipients will commit to working at a state-funded, grant-contracted treatment agency that serves Tennesseans with the greatest needs and the least ability to pay.
