** * Home Buying Assistance (HomeChoice) * OTHER HOUSING RESOURCES ## Home Rehabilitation and Repair At Neighborhood Nonprofit Housing Corporation we help income eligible homeowners in need of home repairs. We facilitate access to three different programs: Northern Utah Neighborhood Improvement Program (NUNIP), Single Family Rehabilitation and Repair Program (SFRRP) and the Rural Single Family Housing (RSFH) grant.
NUNIP funds were used to rehab this home with a new roof, windows, soffit, fascia and gutter. Home Before & After New Driveway and Porch NUNIP funds can be used for replacement of broken concrete, installation of driveways or wheelchair ramps. NUNIP funding was used for new roof, siding, windows, soffit, fascia and gutter.
## Northern Utah Neighborhood Improvement Program NUNIP is a grant of up to $25,000, available to households in Cache and Box Elder County to make necessary repairs. Income qualifications are based on 80% of the Average Median Income by family size. Applicants must own and reside in the home to apply.

org ## Single Family Rehabilitation and Repair Program SFRRP is a Utah program available to households in qualifying “rural” areas. Major or minor home repairs can be financed at an affordable interest rate of 1 to 3%. Payments are based on household income and repayment eligibility.
Applicants must own and live in the home. Mobile/manufactured homes built prior to 1976 are not eligible.

org ## Rural Single Family Housing (RSFH) Rehabilitation Assistance Grant Neighborhood Nonprofit Housing Corporation partners with the State of Utah to administer forgivable grants for rehabilitation of single-family, owner-occupied households in rural Utah. Rehabilitation is the improvement or repair of an existing structure to provide decent, safe and sanitary dwelling units.
RSFH is a grant through the State of Utah to help with needed home improvements and/or repairs. There is no monthly payment required, but the State will place a 5-year lien on the home for the amount of the repairs. A portion is forgiven each year and fully forgiven if you stay in the home 5+ years.
If you sell or refinance the home before five years, you will pay the remaining amount back.
Eligible improvements may include: * Roof repair / replacement * Replace siding, soffit, fascia & gutters * Replace broken or inefficient windows * Update plumbing, heating, cooling and electrical systems * Add accessibility features (wheelchair ramp, etc.) * Eliminate health or safety hazards * Funding will be provided in the form of a 5-year forgivable grant * Grant amount up to $25,000 per residence * Pro-rate portion of grant forgiven each year and fully forgiven after 5 years * A combined household income of <80% of county AMI is required Click to see if your income meets HUD requirements Download and complete the application For more information contact Suzanne at 435-799-8116 or sjacob@nnhc.
