Eligibility for this award is not restricted. USAID intends to issue one award not to exceed $19 million. There is an estimated $14 million in core funding available with up to $5 million in total buy-ins.

The purpose of this activity is to expand the evidence base for rural water services, to increase use of findings to inform rural water policy and programming in collaboration with partners, in order to increase the availability and sustainable management of safe water for the underserved and most vulnerable.
