These programs are working to improve the lives of individuals affected by HIV/AIDS by providing services for people who do not have sufficient health care coverage or financial resources.
Improving Health and Well-being The Ryan White initiative supports comprehensive care and prevention education efforts for more than 7,000 individuals through: Emergency Financial Assistance Food Bank Home Delivered Meals High Impact Prevention Activities People affected by HIV/AIDS accessed vital support services Clients received short-term housing assistance to enhance maintenance and adherence to HIV medical care and services Clients received nutritional assistance in order to improve nutritional status and enhance medication adherence Clients received transportation services in order to access HIV medical care and other support services

NCI Continuing Umbrella of Research Experiences (CURE) Academic Career Excellence (ACE) Award (K32) is a grant from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) that funds early postdoctoral fellows from diverse backgrounds, including underrepresented groups, to pursue research training in cancer-related fields.
