The Salah ad-Din Grant 2026 | Hamdi Foundation The Salah ad-Din Grant 2026 The Hamdi Foundation is launching its three-month clinical fellowship focusing on the cutting-edge field of plastic surgery.

Candidates must have completed a recognized Plastic Surgery training program in one of the recognized training programs in Syria. Candidates must have passed the national exam within the first 3 highest rankings. Candidates should provide two recommendation letters showing their professional attitude during their training in their home institutions.

* Salah ad-Din Yusuf ibn Ayyub ( c. 1137 – 4 March 1193), commonly known as Saladin , was the founder of the Ayyubid dynasty . He was the first sultan of both Egypt and Syria .

Under Saladin’s command, the Ayyubid army defeated the Crusaders at the decisive Battle of Hattin in 1187, capturing Jerusalem . After his death, he was buried in a mausoleum in the garden outside the Umayyad Mosque in Damascus, Syria
