As part of our Community Plan to reinvest $13. 6 billion in community development and sustainable finance, we proudly commit $100 million in charitable giving through Santander Bank and the Santander Consumer USA Foundation.
The Bank’s Charitable Giving Program aims to help low- to moderate-income communities within our Northeast and Florida retail banking footprint address key community development needs in alignment with the Community Reinvestment Act.
Grants and donations support: affordable housing; small business development and job creation; financial education, first-time homebuyer education and down payment assistance; job training and workforce development; youth development; neighborhood revitalization and disaster relief; and community service programs. Helping small businesses thrive Santander’s Cultivate Small Business helps early-stage entrepreneurs build and sustain businesses in the food industry, with a focus on historically underserved founders in low-to-moderate income neighborhoods. The program is completely free for eligible entrepreneurs and provides a 12 week food-focused curriculum, mentorship, and capital grants.
