Scholarship Grants (180 Medical) is sponsored by 180 Medical. 180 Medical offers scholarship grants to individuals with spinal cord injuries, spinal cord-related disabilities, or children of such individuals for post-high school education. Preference is given to direct spinal cord injuries and diseases resulting in paralysis.

180 Medical College Scholarship | Spinal Cord Injury, Spina Bifida 180 Medical Scholarship Program The 180 Medical Scholarship Program is open to full-time college students living with specific medical conditions, including spinal cord injuries, spina bifida, transverse myelitis, neurogenic bladder, or an ostomy.

Because we understand that these conditions often come with additional financial challenges, this program is our way of giving back. We’re honored to invest in the future of students who have personally faced adversity and hope to positively impact others through their career goals. How to Apply for the 180 Medical Scholarship The 180 Medical Scholarship application period is from January 1 to June 1 each year.

We’ll announce the recipients of this year’s scholarship in August. We are currently not accepting applications until the next application period. In order to be eligible, applicants must be: A legal resident of the United States Accepted to a two-year, four-year, or graduate school program full-time in the fall of the year of application Please note that we are unable to accept applications for students enrolled in medical school.

Also, applicants must be under a physician’s care for one of the following conditions: Ostomy (ileostomy, colostomy, and/or urostomy) Any other medical conditions not listed here (e.g., scoliosis, etc.) are not eligible to apply. We offer seven $1,000 college scholarships annually to seven recipients. When is the 180 Medical Scholarship Deadline?

The 180 Medical Scholarship Program was started by 180 Medical’s Founder, Todd Brown , who lives with a spinal cord injury after a motocross accident in 1994. The 2026 application period has closed. We accept applications each year from January 1 to June 1.
