The Schumann Field Trip New Jersey Funds is a grant from The Schumann Fund for New Jersey that funds school field trips to arts and cultural venues, historical landmarks, nature preserves, science institutions, and college campuses for students in underserved communities. Grants of up to $1,500 per academic year are available on a rolling basis to all Essex County public, charter, and nonprofit private pre-K through 12 schools where more than 65% of students qualify for free or reduced-price lunches, as well as nonprofit organizations serving Essex County that are current Schumann Fund grantees. Reimbursement requires submission of invoices at least two weeks before the trip.
