### Career development and transition funding Supports people at any career stage who want to pursue careers focused on reducing global catastrophic risks. Many different activities are covered, including graduate study, professional training, and self-study. ### ****Funding for programs and events Supports programs and events related to effective altruism, global catastrophic risks, biosecurity, and other areas.
### **Request for proposals: Improving Global Health and Wellbeing in an Era of Transformative AI** Supports research, policy, implementation, and field-building to help ensure AI improves human health and wellbeing, with particular attention to risks for and benefits to the global poor. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until **August 21, 2026**.
### **Request for proposals: Launchpad Funds** Supports new and early-stage funds tackling important, underfunded problems in global health and wellbeing. We’re funding in two tracks: pre-seed ($200k–$10m) to develop a fund concept, and seed and scaling ($10m–$50m+) to grow an established one. Expressions of interest are due by **October 2, 2026**.
### Project Tailwind: a call for ambitious AI safety initiatives Supports founders launching new organizations that address catastrophic risks from AI — across technical safety, security, and fieldbuilding.
### Funding for capacity-building on risks from transformative AI Supports work focused on addressing risks from transformative AI through “capacity-building” (e.g. supporting professional networks, helping new people find work in the field, or contributing to public discourse).
