## Additional Information Agency Name:Assistance Coordination Description:The Department of State's Office of Assistance Coordination (NEA/AC) in the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs is pleased to announce a directed announcement for a grant through this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO). This announcement seeks to continue to support security and justice sector stabilization in Syria.
The program will aim to help the moderate opposition respond to the rapidly changing environment within Syria and increase space for normal political, social, and economic activity to take place. In the immediate term, it seeks to enhance the legitimacy of, and support for, the moderate opposition. The program will strive to decrease risks of future violence and mitigate the growth of extremism.
