The SEEDINVEST Acceleration Programme is a flagship programme of Biodun and Ibikunle Foundation, which supports nano, micro and small businesses with entrepreneurial training, asset grants and advisory services to grow thriving enterprises. Who can apply for this programme? The programme is open to Nigerian entrepreneurs with registered businesses.
Is it compulsory for my business to be registered? Yes, only businesses registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) are eligible. What does the SEEDINVEST Acceleration Programme offer?
The SEEDINVEST Programme offers expert-led virtual masterclasses, asset grants and mentorship/advisory services. Does the SEEDINVEST Acceleration Programme provide cash grants? No, the SEEDINVEST Programme does not give cash grants to beneficiaries.
We only give asset grants in the form of business equipment/machinery. Is there a minimum age requirement for applying businesses? Yes.
The business must have been operational for a minimum of one year (12 months) What are the target business focus areas? The programme is sector agnostic, we encourage entrepreneurs from all sectors to apply. No, you can only apply online via the provided application link.
Is there an age limit for prospective applicants? Yes, we only consider applicants between the ages of 22-45 years. As a previous SEEDINVEST beneficiary, can I re-apply for another grant?
Does applying alone qualify me to join the SEEDINVEST Acceleration Programme? No, applying does not qualify you to join the programme. What is the next stage after applying for the SEEDINVEST Acceleration Programme?
Successful applicants will be shortlisted and will participate in a 6-week online Acceleration Period. Subsequent steps will be communicated in the course of the programme. How will I be contacted if successful?
