Senior Community Service Employment Program | Health and Human Services North Dakota Senior Community Service Employment Program The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) is a skills training program. It is for qualifying people 55 and older who are low-income and not working. People gain confidence and skills through part-time training.

If you are eligible, they will assist you with the application process. What are the hours and pay for SCSEP? You will train about 20 hours per week and earn minimum wage.

The program pays participants while they are receiving work skills training. Employers have the option to hire SCSEP participants after the work skills training. Can SCSEP train mature workers to meet the organization's needs?
Yes. We work directly with employers to provide qualified workers trained to their requirements. The program is called On-the-Job Experience (OJE).
Through OJE, the local SCSEP project agrees to pay all of part of the wages while the individual is being trained. Paperwork is kept to a minimum. If you are interested in becoming a SCSEP training site, please contact us at the information listed below.
