Senior Community Service Employment Program | Health and Human Services North Dakota Senior Community Service Employment Program The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) is a skills training program. It is for qualifying people 55 and older who are low-income and not working. People gain confidence and skills through part-time training.

Yes. We work directly with employers to provide qualified workers trained to their requirements. The program is called On-the-Job Experience (OJE).
Through OJE, the local SCSEP project agrees to pay all of part of the wages while the individual is being trained. Paperwork is kept to a minimum. If you are interested in becoming a SCSEP training site, please contact us at the information listed below.

The Massachusetts Manufacturing Innovation Initiative (M2I2) provides state grant funding to help Massachusetts innovators advance hardtech products to manufacturing stage. M2I2 supports sectors including electronics, bioindustrial manufacturing, robotics, additive manufacturing, and AI-enabled smart manufacturing. The program funds capital equipment that remains in Massachusetts and supports companies at Technology Readiness Levels 4-6 with a clear plan for pilot-scale manufacturing. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed at least quarterly by the Center for Advanced Manufacturing (CAM), a division of MassTech. Recent awards include $1.85 million distributed across three manufacturers supporting up to 62 new jobs in advanced manufacturing including AI-enabled robotics.
The Massachusetts Applied AI Models Innovation Challenge 2.0, administered by the Massachusetts AI Hub at the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative, is a flagship grant program funding the development of domain-specific AI models capable of catalyzing scientific discoveries, accelerating commercialization of AI applications, or generating substantial public benefits. Priority industry sectors include healthcare and life sciences, financial services, robotics, advanced manufacturing, climate tech, and education. The Challenge 2.0 builds on the inaugural 2025 round and seeks projects that develop, fine-tune, or adapt AI models to unlock breakthroughs with significant downstream applications within the next three years. Awards support model development, dataset curation, validation, benchmarking, and commercialization planning.
