## ASVCP Share the Future Research Grants The **Share the Future (STF) Research Grants** are supported through the generous contributions of ASVCP members and corporate sponsors. These grants are designed to support research conducted by veterinary clinical pathology residents and graduate students. Since 2008, STF Research Grants of up to $5,000 have been awarded annually.
Proposals are evaluated based on the quality and rigor of the research design and methodology, clarity and organization, feasibility of the proposed work, potential contribution to the field of veterinary clinical pathology, and the applicant’s personal statement. _Eligible proposals must be written by the trainee, and the project scope should be appropriate for completion within one year.
_ Trainees must be current ASVCP members at the time of application. Funds may not be used for salaries, benefits, or indirect costs. #### Applications are open (Deadline: September 14, 2026) **Submit an Application** ## Call for 2026 Applications The application deadline is **September 14, 2026**.
In 2026, one $5000 grant will be awarded. * Be a current trainee in veterinary clinical pathology (resident or graduate student) * Be an active ASVCP member * Not have previously received this award 1.
**Research proposal****(maximum length 3 pages)**The proposal should describe a project that can reasonably be completed within one year and include the following sections: * Background and Significance * Research Design and Methods * Institutional Care and Use Committee (IACUC) approval or exemption number (or equivalent), _if applicable_ * Timeline and expected outcomes Note: References are required but do NOT count toward the 3-page limit.
