2025 LONG-TERM COMMUNITY-BASED OPIOID RECOVERY EFFORT (CORE) GRANTS Start typing a search term programs Texas Opioid Abatement Fund Council 2025 LONG-TERM COMMUNITY-BASED OPIOID RECOVERY EFFORT (CORE) GRANTS 2025: Recovery Housing Grant Opportunity one-pager The Opioid Abatement Fund Council (OAFC) seeks to empower local organizations to address the opioid crisis at its roots through the 2025 Long-term Community-based Opioid Recovery Effort (CORE) grant opportunity.
The Long-term CORE grant funding is directly broken out and allocated among the 20 Regional Healthcare Partnership (RHP) regions for projects meeting the criteria for council-approved strategies in the following two OAFC-designated categories: Treatment and Coordination of Care; and Recovery Support Services.
By providing funding in RHP regions, the CORE grants support evidence-based, community-driven solutions that ultimately work to improve the lives of individuals and families affected by the opioid crisis across Texas. The OAFC voted on June 16, 2026, to award 2025 Long-term CORE grants to the following entities in each Regional Healthcare Partnership (RHP) region.
