Background behind the program: Scholarships for students in need The Shraman Foundation is excited to fund scholarship opportunities for promising students in India and beyond. Shraman Foundation’s goal is to provide Technical education opportunities to needy students by leveraging high quality education platforms. Repeated studies show that access to education leads to alleviation of connected societal issues, including poverty.
Shraman Scholarship is intended to cover tuition and other institutional fees including hostel and mess fees that are not covered by central or state government offered scholarships. For Indian institute of technology students Upto Rs. 35,000 per semester (Rs.
70,000 annually) Scholarship to be renewed on an annual basis Maximum support for Rs. 2,80,000 (upto 8 semester) Eligibility for iit students Undergraduate Students from the following institutions can apply for the scholarship: Undergraduate Students enrolled into any Indian Institute of Technologies Annual household income less than Rs.
5,00,000 For national institute of technology, Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research & state university students Upto Rs. 25,000 per semester (Rs. 50,000 annually) Scholarship to be renewed on an annual basis Maximum support for Rs.
2,00,000 (upto 8 semester) or Rs. 3,00,000 (upto 10 semesters) Eligibility for nit, IISER & state university students Undergraduate Student enrolled into any National Institute of Technologies/ Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research & state university students Annual household income less than Rs. 2,50,000 Students from any other government technical institute can write to us at info@shraman.

Students with the most financial need will be shortlisted and reviewed for further selection All information submitted will be verified with the respective academic institutions Telephonic and / or short Video Interview for Qualified candidates Each student will have to establish a continued financial need to be able to renew this scholarship on an annual basis.
