Use this application portal to apply for the following SIAM Programs: SIAM-Simons Undergraduate Summer Research Program This program establishes five sites across the U.S. for a program of research and learning in applied mathematics and computational science.
One faculty mentor and two students at each site will work together as participants learn how to conduct scientific research, effectively communicate mathematics and computational science principles, and gain an improved understanding of how they can pursue a career in applied mathematics and computational science. Application to be participant for summer 2027 will open November 2026. Application to be a mentor for summer 2027 will open in July 2026. SIAM Postdoctoral Support Program This program provides up to $15,000 in financial support for postdoctoral researchers to work with a mentor from a different institution.
The goal is to foster direct research experience and professional development. Learn more here . The application opens each fall and remains open until annual funding is expended.

Grants of $750 will be awarded for development and/or implementation of a mathematical modeling activity in the classroom or for an extracurricular program.
