Siemens Healthineers is committed to providing charitable donations, product donations, educational grants, exhibiting opportunities, in-kind product loans, and sponsorships for initiatives that meet Siemens Healthineers’ established guidelines and criteria. Siemens Healthineers thoroughly evaluates all requests, and ensures all laws and regulations are observed including internal compliance regulations.

Important: Applications Must Be Received 45 Days in Advance ​ A completed application, including all required documentation, is required to be received 45 days or more before an event, activity, or program date. Review time for successful submissions may take between 60 – 90 days due to the thorough review that each submission receives.

Therefore, it is imperative that a complete submission is successfully created at least 45 days prior to the event date. No submissions will be allowed on or after the start date of an event/program. Requests created and submitted with a future or fictitious date are automatically declined.

For donations and educational grants, the recipient organization must reconcile the submission at the conclusion of the event/program. A reconciliation email will be sent from the Healthcare Giving Portal after the start date has passed, alerting you to complete this action. No Siemens or Siemens Healthineers employees may create submissions on behalf of customers, healthcare providers or healthcare organizations.

Siemens Healthineers cannot be the sole supporter. Any given event/program must also be funded by other organizations. Direct-to-beneficiary: We will not sponsor a third party to support any submissions.

(e.g., Siemens Healthineers will not contribute to a hospital's fundraiser to benefit a third-party charitable organization).

Any charitable donation or educational grant must provide at a minimum 65% of the funds for the intended cause vs. administrative, or program/event expenses (e.g., if there is funding support being requested in the amount of $1,000, a minimum of $650 must go to the intended cause while $350 or less could be going to support the costs of the event/program).

Funding support cannot be used for any of the following: Construction, capital improvements or equipment purchase Endowments, general operations costs, or salaries of employees. International programs, even if the charity is a U.S. organization. Religious or political initiatives.

The beneficiary/requesting organization must be a U.S. organization/entity. Siemens Healthineers may be required to publish or otherwise disclose to the federal and/or state governments the details of any support provided by Siemens Healthineers, including but not limited to the organization receiving funds, names of those receiving funds, amount of funding and purpose of the award. Please log onto the Healthcare Giving Portal .

The first step is to create your profile via MediSpend. On the MediSpend page, click on “Need a Grant Requestor account? ” and follow these instructions .

Carefully review the Required Documentation tab before starting a new request submission. Once submitted, your request will be reviewed by the Siemens Healthineers Review Committee. Submission of a request does not guarantee support.

The Review Committee will make decisions only on requests that are complete. You will receive notification regarding the Review Committee's decision. It may take 60 to 90 days for your request to be reviewed, and a decision rendered.
