Skill Advance Colorado Grant Program | Colorado Community College System Transforming Colorado’s workforce through customized training, the Skill Advance Colorado program offers State funding to Colorado businesses for grants to strengthen competitiveness, foster talent, and improve employment opportunities. Applications are anticipated to open October 1, 2026.
Net new hire and incumbent worker reskilling and upskilling Short term worksite training aligned with organization needs Wide ranging essential and technical skills development Employee retention efforts Grant application submission period is July 1, 2025 through April 1, 2026 .
Colorado First Job Training Program funds customized training for net new hires of new and expanding Colorado businesses Existing Industry Job Training Program funds customized incumbent worker training of established Colorado businesses Third-Party Training Vendor Policies & Procedures (PDF) Businesses interested in applying for funding work directly with a local college representative, who assists with eligibility determination, training needs assessment, and grant application development.
