Small Business Assistance is a resource program from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development that supports entrepreneurs, startups, and small businesses throughout Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Business One-Stop Shop serves as a centralized gateway connecting businesses to planning, registration, operational support, and expansion resources.
Small businesses in Pennsylvania employ about half the state's workforce and in the second half of 2015 alone created nearly 24,000 new jobs. The program offers comprehensive business resource guides and direct connections to state assistance programs. Eligible applicants include Pennsylvania-based entrepreneurs, small businesses, and startups at any stage of development.

They employ about half of the state’s workforce, and in second half of 2015, created nearly 24,000 new jobs.
To support our entrepreneurs and businesses at all stages of development, the Pennsylvania Business One-Stop Shop was created and launched business. pa. gov in February 2018.
