Small Business Export Loan FAQs If your business meets the following criteria, it may be eligible for a Small Business Export Loan: Borrower type: Company or Trading history: At least exporter or part of an export supply chain My business does not currently export. Can I apply? Yes.
If you’re not currently exporting but plan to, you may be eligible for an export market development loan. Alternatively, if you are part of an export supply chain – for example, a supplier providing components to an Australian business that exports its final product – you may be eligible based on those What if my business doesn't meet all the criteria listed? We assess each application on a case-by-case basis.
If you’re unsure whether your business qualifies, we encourage you to get in touch to discuss your specific circumstances. Eligible applicants can borrow between $20,000 and $350,000, with repayments typically made on a principal and interest basis over the loan term. Interest-only repayments are available for the first 6 months on 24-month term loans only and are subject to additional credit criteria.
