The College Township Industrial Development Authority (CTIDA) is proud to launch the Small Business Grant Program, designed to boost economic vibrancy, attract customers, and elevate the visual appeal of this key entry point to the State College Area. With $30,000 in total funding available, eligible businesses may apply for grants of up to $5,000, with a required 50/50 match, to support meaningful improvements.

Click on the banner below The College Township Industrial Development Authority (CTIDA) was organized in 1972 to alleviate problems involving unemployment, blight, and air and water pollution.
The Authority encourages the development of business opportunities by backing financing for the construction, improvement, rehabilitation, and revitalization of manufacturing, and research and development enterprises. A total of nine College Township residents are appointed as full Members on the Authority for staggered, five-year terms.
The Authority meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 9:30 am at the College Township Municipal Building. The Authority collects fees on projects and has its own assets. The CTIDA is autonomous, thus, all of its actions are independent of the College Township Council, although certain types of financing must be authorized by the Council following an advertised public hearing.
Financial Assistance Programs The CTIDA provides a number of various financial assistance programs to encourage economic development in College Township and throughout the Centre Region and Centre County, PA. Programs for businesses include loans, lines of credit, assistance in acquiring grants, and business incentives.
