Economic Development: City of Las Cruces Announces Storefront Repair Grants Now Open - Economic Development: City of Las Cruces Announces Storefront Repair Grants Now Open Small businesses that experienced property damage due to the negative economic impacts of COVID-19 may apply for up to $2,500 to cover or reimburse repair costs for damages that occurred on or after January 1, 2021.
Source: City of Las Cruces (via Facebook ) The City of Las Cruces Economic Development Department is offering a second round of funding through the Small Business Storefront Repair Program, supported by federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds.
Small businesses that experienced property damage due to the negative economic impacts of COVID-19 may apply for up to $2,500 to cover or reimburse repair costs for damages that occurred on or after January 1, 2021. Eligible damages include (but are not limited to): Graffiti and window etching Broken locks or damaged landscaping Not eligible: stolen merchandise or prevention measures (cameras, guards, window coverings, etc.).
Who can apply in this round? This funding round is open to previous grant recipients who have experienced additional qualifying incidents. Only one application may be submitted per business, EIN, SSN, UBI number, business license number, and home or business address.
