American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) is happy to launch a small seed grants program to catalyze revolutionary regionally pushed initiatives that safeguard democracy whereas advancing peace, justice, and nonviolence. Through this program, AFSC goals to put money into group-led concepts that promote dialogue, strengthen networks of solidarity, and reply creatively to rising challenges to peace and democracy.

Rooted in Quakers’ values of peace, equality, and social justice, this initiative acknowledges that significant and sustainable change typically begins on the group degree. They encourage feminist, grassroots teams, and youth actions to apply. The funds are restricted to Global South companions.

However, collaboration with a Global North companion could possibly be included within the financing.
