This 3-year programme, subsidised by Enterprise Singapore, is designed to help SMEs navigate the complexities of sustainability reporting with confidence and clarity.
Deloitte has partnered with Enterprise Singapore on the SME Sustainability Reporting Programme (SME SRP) to help Singapore non-listed small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) kickstart their Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) disclosure journey by preparing their first sustainability reports.
Join our ESG mailing list With expert guidance from Deloitte, this programme equips you with the resources and tools needed to produce high-quality, impactful sustainability reports that meet regulatory standards. You will receive support in identifying material areas, collecting data based on the identified material areas, and report drafting in line with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) reporting frameworks.

Integrate sustainability into your core operations to gain competitive advantage Materiality assessment comprises stakeholder identification, stakeholder engagement sessions, peer benchmarking with reference to industry standards, and prioritisation of material topics. Stakeholder Identification : Identify relevant stakeholder groups specific to your SME.
Stakeholder Engagement : Engage your identified stakeholders through a questionnaire and stakeholder engagement sessions to identify their concerns and potential material topics. Peer Benchmarking : Benchmark your performance against peers' disclosures to identify best practices and material topics in the industry.
Material Topic Prioritisation : Develop an inventory of material ESG topics and relevant reporting metrics and develop a materiality prioritisation table to prioritise the material topics based on discussions with your management. Data Collection and Analysis Data collection includes providing a data collection template, reviewing and processing of the ESG data received and builing a Power BI dashboard.
Data Collection Template : Obtain a data collection template based on your prioritised material topics and the requirements of GRI, as well as additional metrics from the SGX 27 core metrics. Processed Data for Reporting : Collate and translate raw ESG data for reporting, reviewing the data collected for accuracy and completeness.
Power BI Dashboard : Build a Power BI dashboard featuring the SGX 27 core metrics, which will assist in your future data collection purposes. Report writing involves crafting the structure of the sustainability report and producing report drafts. Report Structure : Produce a basic report structure, outlining the chapters and the key messages.
Report Drafts : Gain insights for value-added writing and iterate the drafts based on your feedback. Utilising the DBS Accelerator Tool co-developed by Deloitte for a high-level roadmap. Half-yearly insights on sustainability trends in the form of Deloitte articles or electronic newsletters.
Full access to sustainability-related eLearning modules on Deloitte’s Learning Management system. Invitation to Deloitte’s Forum and Seminars for insights and perspectives on a variety of topics. Advisory services on your eligibility for applying for the Enterprise Development Grant (EDG) for sustainability projects.

In her current role, she leads the Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) assurance team, which plays a pivotal role in providing an array of services to clients. These services encompass advisory solutions covering narrative reporting, TCFD and climate reporting, integrated reporting, and sustainability reporting.
In addition to this, her team is actively engaged in providing assurance in accordance with ISAE 3000, a globally recognised standard. This involves a meticulous evaluation of the effectiveness, design, and implementation of controls pertaining to both financial and non-financial data. Josette's expertise extends beyond her role as an accomplished corporate trainer.
With over 9 years of experience, she has effectively imparted training to both internal Deloitte professionals and external corporate clients. Her leadership extends to Learning Solutions by Deloitte (DLS), the training arm of Deloitte, where she orchestrates impactful learning experiences.
Josette's expertise as a corporate trainer has significantly influenced sustainability and accounting training initiatives, reaching a diverse array of stakeholders. Her scope encompasses Singapore-listed corporations, multinational entities, and government-linked firms. Her notable contributions extend to Deloitte Singapore's IFRS Centre of Excellence, where she specialises in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Her professional affiliations include membership in various esteemed bodies, such as ISCA (CA Singapore), Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), and Associate Adult Educator (AAE) as part of the Adult Education Professionalisation program by Institute for Adult Learning Singapore (IAL).
Vivian has more than 15 years of professional experience with Deloitte Singapore and Luxembourg providing assurance and advisory services to clients in the financial services industry.
She has extensive experience in the audits of multinationals, local and state-owned companies in the investment management, trust and banking industries, as well as experience in the audit of investments funds and private equity funds under various accounting standards (i.e. IFRS and US GAAP).
Vivian has significant experience in regulatory compliance, with extensive understanding of the Singapore regulatory reporting governance framework. Above her audit experience, Vivian worked with regulators in conducting a thematic inspection and review of financial institutions, covering capital market intermediaries, financial advisors and trust companies.
She also assisted in various Anti Money Laundering advisory projects and Tax Crime Risk advisory projects for banks, capital market intermediaries and payment institutions. Vivian has been actively involved in ESG assurance with a focus on sustainable reporting and sustainable finance, where she has served multinational clients in the real estate sector. Vivian is a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.
