Solidarity Grant Program is sponsored by Indivisible Civics. Financial support for anti‑racist community care projects such as mutual aid, community education, direct resources for vulnerable communities.

Solidarity Grant Program | Indivisible We will accept Solidarity Grant applications until Monday, Sept. 14th, at midnight ET Type I: Up to $1K Project involves only 1 registered Indivisible group Type II: Up to $2.

5K Project involves at least two Indivisible groups Training Add-on: Up to $1K Speaker funding available to all grant levels AREA I Education Anti-racism and solidarity trainings, skill-building education, know-your-rights-events, and the like AREA II Mutual Aid Education and support for dignity-preserving reciprocal exchange of resources and services AREA III Direct Aid/501(c)(3) partner required: Items of financial value provided to communities or otherwise requiring appropriate licensing, infrastructure and safeguards Are there requirements to apply?

Those requesting and accepting grants must be active members of an active and registered Indivisible group and be using the money to fund activities approved by their group and its leadership. Those requesting Direct Aid grants must be partnered with a registered 501(c)3 organization to accept and disburse the funds.

Other than for Direct Aid grants, for each application at least one Indivisible group must have a registered Distributed Fundraising account in order to complete the application, OR must provide group leadership approval and an Indivisible-approved request for receiving funds through reimbursement. A member of a group accepting the grant must agree to attend or view at least two of the 2026 Solidarity in Action webinars.

org. If my group received a grant through a different Indivisible program, can we still apply for a Solidarity Grant? Yes!

Please realistically assess your group’s capacity to run multiple projects, but if you have an appropriate project, a solid team and a well-thought out plan, feel free to apply. Where do we start? We’ve made a toolkit and step-by-step checklist for you!

We will accept Solidarity Grant applications until Sept. 14th, at midnight ET.

We begin notifications no later than two weeks after the closing of each grant application period. What if I don't get a response to my application within a few weeks of the grant application window closing, or funds after I've been awarded a grant? Email us at solidaritygrants@indivisible.

org Have the program dates changed? They look different. Yes, we made the bittersweet decision to end our application season a few months early, to allocate staff capacity towards election protection efforts.

Complete the Solidarity Grants Debrief Survey Solidarity Grants are funded by Indivisible Civics as part of the Indivisible Solidarity in Action program. Indivisible Civics supports civic education and leadership development for local Indivisible groups and is a registered non-profit organization and tax-exempt entity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Indivisible Civics does not support or oppose any candidates for public office and operates in compliance with IRS regulations governing 501(c)(3) organizations. Any project funded through this program must be in compliance with Section 501(c)(3), can not support or oppose any candidates for public office, advocate for any local, state, or federal legislation, or ballot measures.
