Source Research Foundation Source Research Foundation Announces Planned Closure After thoughtful reflection and careful planning, the Source Research Foundation has decided to conclude its operations by the end of the 2026 calendar year. Since its founding, SRF has been honored to support students, researchers, and community-based initiatives advancing psychedelic research and education.
Despite meaningful impact, the organization has faced ongoing challenges in securing sustainable funding. To act responsibly and uphold our commitments, the Board of Directors approved an orderly wind-down and dissolution. All existing grant commitments will be honored, with expenses required to be incurred by October 31, 2026.
SRF is committed to closing with transparency, care, and integrity, and we are deeply grateful to our community of supporters and partners. Founded in 2017, Source Research Foundation (SRF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit research and educational organization.
We aim to connect, inspire, and support students who study the epidemiology, phenomenology, and the environmental, cultural and clinical contexts of psychedelic use, and to develop a virtual collaboration of students, scientists, and community members who are passionate about psychedelic science. Changing the world is possible. We’ve done it before.
Our leadership team bring years of experience to bear on the greatest challenge of our time. We’re results driven, with a proven record of previous successes. Our primary aim is to provide grants.
