Ministry Grants | South Carolina Christian Foundation A prospective ministry recipient must first complete the Ministry Awareness Profile Form to be eligible for a grant from the South Carolina Christian Foundation (SCCF). SCCF supports Christian non-profit organizations that share the Gospel with those outside the walls of a local church.
For this reason, ministries such as churches and church-based schools are generally not funded through SCCF's Community Trust Grants Program unless they apply for special community projects or efforts. Circle 555, the Women's Giving Circle of South Carolina Christian Foundation, offers annual grants to ministries specifically addressing women, children, and families and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Opportunities for Circle 555 grants are available in Spartanburg, Greenville, and York Counties, as well as along the Grand Strand in Horry and Georgetown Counties. Invitations to apply are sent in November, and grants are awarded in the spring. Select ministries who have completed the Ministry Profile will be invited to apply at the appropriate time.
South Carolina Christian Foundation established Community Trusts to serve better the current and emerging needs of ministries across the state. These are awarded annually to ministries in the Upstate of South Carolina and along the Grand Strand. Applications open in July, and awards are announced in October.
Select ministries that have completed the Ministry Profile will be invited to apply at the appropriate time. View The Ministry Guidelines Our partnership with SCCF for our Donor Advised Fund has helped us expand and grow our giving opportunities with “Kingdom-focused” ministries. Through SCCF’s great support and service, Circle 555 in York County has made a Kingdom-minded impact on our community.
I give to many nonprofit organizations, and without hesitation, I would recommend SCCF to manage gifts in an impactful manner that is pleasing to God. Having participated in Gatekeepers for a few years, I have found the fellowship, accountability, and community with Christian brothers to be life-giving, edifying, and enriching. I would encourage anyone considering Gatekeepers to try it.
You will be blessed beyond expectation. Because SCCF is mission-focused and Christ-centered, my husband and I prayerfully decided to invest our charitable funds with them and participate in their ministries. We feel confident our investment works for God’s glory and His Kingdom.
SCCF has become a valued and trusted resource for Christians focused on building God’s Kingdom through faithful stewardship and generous giving in York, Chester, and Lancaster counties.
The greatest blessing for me in Circle 555 is partnering with Christian women from our community to support local ministries with our grants, gifts, and prayers and then hearing stories of how the Lord has changed lives and impacted families through these ministries.
