South Carolina Need-based Grant

South Carolina Need-based Grant is sponsored by State of South Carolina. The state of South Carolina provides need-based grants to eligible students. Students attending Piedmont Technical College (PTC) may be eligible for this state aid.

State Need-Based Grant - Financial Aid and Scholarships | University of South Carolina Financial Aid and Scholarships Financial Aid and Scholarships The State Need-Based Grant is only awarded to South Carolina residents and can only be used for eight academic semesters. The award ranges from $100 to $1,500 per semester. This is based on financial need as defined by Title IV regulations.

You must enroll in 12 hours for the fall semester and 12 hours for the spring semester. In addition to meeting all general eligibility requirements, as continuing education students: you must enroll in 12 hours for the fall semester and 12 hours for the spring semester if you received a State Need-Based Grant in the previous year, you must have earned 24 credit hours during the fall and spring semesters you must have earned a minimum 2.
