We're excited to share that applications are open for Specialised Community-Lead Impact Opportunity (SCLIO), a grant program supporting community-led data collection projects across Washington State. SCLIO is run by the Taskar Center for Accessible Technology (TCAT) and offers funding and guidance to help community members collect important infrastructure data.
Examples of data you could collect include: * Accessible Pedestrian Signals (APS) * Bus stop signage and features * Or any other pedestrian-related or public infrastructure data you care about We’re also interested in hearing what types of data you or your communities want to collect—whether you're part of a local organization, a student group, or simply passionate about your neighborhood.
There are two tiers of funding available: * Tier 1: $1,000 to $9,999 * Tier 2: $10,000 to $100,000 More details, including detailed timelines and examples of past projects, can be found on the SCLIO program page: https://tcat. cs. washington.
