Parkersburg Area Community Foundation | The PM Company Invites Local… The PM Company Invites Local Nonprofits to Apply for 2025 Spirit of Giving Grant Funding The PM Company wishes to announce the opening of its 2025 Spirit of Giving grant process. Applications will be accepted through August 30th.
Organizations that serve Wood County, WV, and Washington County, OH, and are interested in applying can visit the Spirit of Giving Fund's grant webpage to complete the online application. This annual opportunity reflects the company's deep commitment to giving back and strengthening the Mid-Ohio Valley through targeted support to area nonprofits.
Spearheading this year’s Spirit of Giving is Karmyn Conley, who continues her family’s tradition of philanthropy through The PM Company. “The Spirit of Giving is deeply personal for our family,” said Karmyn Conley. “It’s a way to honor my father’s legacy while working hand in hand with our community to support the causes that truly make a difference.
Every contribution from our local business owners, vendors, and partners is matched by The PM Company to help create lasting, meaningful change. ” Established on October 21, 2011, by Pat Minnite, Sr., the Spirit of Giving Fund at the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation and Regional Affiliates (PACF) was created to promote community well-being through charitable giving.
Since its inception, the Fund has awarded nearly 300 grants totaling $916,000 to local nonprofit organizations. Fueled by the generosity of more than 500 unique donors, the Fund ensures ongoing support for the region’s most impactful nonprofit work. In 2024, the Spirit of Giving granted $100,000 to 7 local nonprofit organizations, helping to advance missions that provide vital services, education, and outreach across the region.
“We are honored to administer this process for The PM Company,” said Amy Nahley, Senior Program Officer at the PACF. “Their continued investment in our community demonstrates a deep commitment to building a better Mid-Ohio Valley and supporting the essential work being done at the local level.
” The PM Company wishes to thank the individuals, families, vendors and businesses who join the company’s effort annually by contributing to the Fund. Every monetary gift is matched by The PM Company and helps ensure that community nonprofits have the resources they need to continue their important work.
