Applications are accepted September 16 - October 20. Applicants will be notified in late November. Large grants provide important foundational direct service funds for promising targeted projects that serve families and children who are in need of community support.

All proposed activities and projects must align to the FSC's mission, vision and desired outcomes. These can be found on our website under the "Board" tab. One application per nonprofit will be accepted.

20, 2025 2026 Large Grant Application (Download form before use) Resource for 2026 Applicants: 2021 Exemplar Grant A “how-to” video for grant applicants mini Grants (announced Winter 2026) The purpose of the Family Service Collaborative Small Grants option is to support smaller community projects or events that represent the SLP FSC mission but may not fit within the timeline of the annual granting cycle.

Grants up to $1,000 may be distributed throughout the year until designated funds are depleted. Grant applications are reviewed on a rolling basis by the Family Service Collaborative Grant Committee. Applications are subject to full Board approval.

org Information for Large and mini Grants What is Eligible for Funding? Grant funding is available for programs, events or other direct service opportunities that align with our mission to Improve and develop the well-being of at-risk children and families in St. Louis Park in partnership with the community.

Event, Program or Opportunity must be implemented in St. Louis Park. Grant summary must show what impact it will have on the St.

Louis Park community. Applicants must be from non-profit agencies or public institution sectors. LLC applicants are not eligible.

Capital improvement projects or organization rebranding. Supplanting funds. We can supplement an existing program or event, but not supplant funding if the program has been funded from another source.

For example, we cannot fund a program that is now being funded by United Way unless those funds have diminished or fund a program that existed last year and funds still exist to cover expenses).

if your application is selected for funding… Grant recipients shall provide an in-person (or virtual) report to the to the Family Services Collaborative Board at one of the monthly meetings and include the following: Brief introduction about the organization receiving the grant. Description of the grant funded initiative and demographic reached. How the objectives of your project/event were met.

The following items are due when you submit your invoice(s): Short summary of the grant funded activities and any receipts. Number of participants and age groups(s) reached. A brief reflection of whether you felt the project/event objectives were met (Evaluation and Outcomes).
