The SMWWCO Grant Program provides financial assistance to eligible commercial saltwater products businesses, commercial saltwater wholesale dealers, retail seafood license holders, seafood houses, and marine aquaculture operations to help maintain and enhance their operations while supporting Florida's seafood economy. Applicants must demonstrate that their proposed project provides a benefit to the local economy.
Important SMWWCO Updates for FY 2026-27: The Florida Department of Environmental Protection is pleased to announce that funding has been appropriated for the FY 2026–27 Stan Mayfield Working Waterfronts Capital Outlay (SMWWCO) Grant Program. Applicants are encouraged to establish their user FDEP Grant Portal account and login credentials prior to the application cycle opening.
