Stanton Foundation Dog Park Grants

Stanton Foundation Dog Park Grants is sponsored by Stanton Foundation. These grants focus on supporting dog parks, particularly those near municipal animal shelters, with the goal of improving adoptability.

The Foundation is no longer accepting proposals. The Foundation’s canine mission has included work in both health and welfare through programs ranging from clinical research support to dog park construction. The Foundation’s mission in canine health has been to ensure that dogs who belong to families of modest economic means enjoy the best possible health throughout their lives.

It has supported clinical research on preventive care and alternatives to “gold standard” veterinary medicine with wider experiential learning in veterinary training. The Stanton Foundation is pleased to partner with AVMF for continued support of the Canine Spectrum of Care Clinical Research Program.

The Foundation’s support for canine welfare has included research, traditional grant-making and direct service programs to promote the welfare of dogs and strengthen the human/dog bond. The Stanton Foundation is now pleased to partner with Gigi’s for continued support of the Canine Transportation Van Grant Program.

In 2024, The Stanton Foundation seeded the Stanton K9 Foundation with $5 million to continue its legacy of providing K9 unit establishment and Fallen K9 replacement grants. International and Nuclear Security The Stanton Foundation has provided funding to the following institutions in order to advance the Foundation’s nuclear security objectives until at least 2045.

hertie-school. org/en/international-security The Foundation’s mission has included protection of First Amendment rights and the larger challenge of creating a more informed citizenry. The Foundation has aimed to protect all four First Amendment freedoms: speech, press, assembly and petition.

Its informed citizen work has focused on supporting innovation in civics and US history education, and creative ways of delivering information to the public. Its primary work supporting the First Amendment has been to support First Amendment clinics at xx law schools.
