StartUp Program

Creative Aging is a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts that funds organizations delivering structured arts learning programs for adults aged 55 and older. Programs must be led by professional teaching artists trained in creative aging and drawn from the Delaware Artist Roster, spanning eight sequential weekly classes across visual, literary, or performing arts, culminating in a community event. Eligible applicants are Delaware-based government entities or 501(c)(3)/501(c)(4) nonprofits that have completed Division training as a hosting organization. Awards cover up to 100% of eligible program expenses, not to exceed $5,000, with no match required. Applications are accepted quarterly on a rolling basis; the next deadline is April 1, 2026 for activities beginning between May 15 and August 15.

A New Round of the Norwegian Scholarship Programme for Ukrainian Writers is sponsored by Ukrainian PEN, The Norwegian Non-Fiction Writers and Translators Association, the Norwegian Helsinki Committee and the Norwegian Writers' Union, within the framework of The Nansen Support Programme for Ukraine. This program offers scholarships to Ukrainian writers to support the creation of new works that reflect on the war experience, rethink Ukrainian culture, foster deeper understanding of Ukrainian culture, and highlight the diversity of cultures and lived experiences. It supports authors in non-fiction, fiction, and children's/young adult literature.
